<ServiceInformation>
<DescriptionText><text>
At least 8 false edges were detected and so the firmware has given up searching for the edge. These false
edges are often caused by a dirty edge strip. Clean the strip following instructions in the Service Manual.
Check the strip for scratches while cleaning. If the strip is badly scratched it may need to be replaced.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
False edges can also be caused by a foreign object near the plate edge, such as a slipsheet stuck to the plate.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
If the false edges continue after cleaning the strip, a "daom cal" should be performed and saved. Also the
position of the edge strip should be checked by performing a "plot edge cal" command followed by a
"drum edge" command. The green edge spot should be centred on the bottom half of the strip.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
If none of the above seem to be the problem, the problem may be with the head. Someone experienced
with diagnosing edge detect problems should be contacted.
</text></DescriptionText>
</ServiceInformation>
<OperatorAction>
